Triathlon Community Coach Courses in Regina and Saskatoon

To increase the number of trained and certified triathlon coaches in Saskatchewan, Triathlon Saskatchewan will be a) hosting a Triathlon Canada NCCP Triathlon Community Coach Course (Youth/Adult) and b) creating opportunities for NCCP Trained Community Coaches to become certified.

Here are the details:

The Triathlon Community Coaching Course is designed for new coaches looking to work with individuals or programs in their community. Topics covered include safety and risk management, planning a practice, and basic triathlon techniques and skills.

Coach education will consist of theory and practical components facilitated by NCCP Coach Facilitator and Evaluator, Carly Priebe. Here are the details and link to register:

To learn more about the training courses and becoming certified through coaching in the community, please join us on Monday March 9th, 2026 at 7 pm for an information meeting by clicking here.

Here is the meeting agenda,

  1. Welcome and Introductions to the Provincial Coaches and Learning Facilitator.
  2. Purpose of the meeting — to help prospective coaches understand and navigate the Triathlon Community Coach pathway, time commitment, and opportunities to coach and become certified through the program.
  3. Coach Development Pathway—to learn what is involved and how to get registered.
  4. Community Course Workshop—to meet the learning facilitator and review the course curriculum and practical components.
  5. Opportunities to Connect and Coach in Provincial Clinics—to understand opportunities for engagement and certification in the Provincial Program.
