Process for Reporting
Overview
Triathlon Saskatchewan takes reports of bullying, harassment, abuse, and misconduct very seriously. Over the coming months we will be working to implement policy and an online system to ensure compliance with Safe Sport policy and procedures.
A more detailed outline of the following process can be found in the Safe Sport Manual on our Policies and Procedures page. The following is a condensed summary of the reporting process.
- Any individual involved in sport as a participant, volunteer, contractor, or employee may report an incident or complaint to Sask Sport through their Independent Third Party (IDP), ITP Sport. Click on this link to file a report: https://integritycounts.ca/org/itpsport
- All incidents and complaints reported will be triaged by the IDP.
- If the claim is accepted, a Case Manager will be chosen in collaboration with Triathlon Saskatchewan through their Safe Sport Liaison.
- Case Management may include formal investigations and informal approaches such as Alternate Dispute Resolution.
For more information, contact Tri Sask’s Safe Sport Liaison, Dr. Yvonne Cafik, at executivedirector@triathlonsaskatchewan.org or 306-519-1822.
