Bike Doctor Moe’s and Kids of Steel Triathlon Clinic

Clinic Schedule

9:30 – 10:15 AM | Swim Session

· Age-appropriate technique drills.

· Fun relays and open-water skills.

· Focus on sighting, breathing, and body position.

10:15 – 10:30 AM | Snack + Transition Time

· Bring a healthy snack and water bottle.

· Towel off and prep for dryland activities.

10:30 – 11:15 AM | Sleep & Recovery Education Session Presented by Ryan Flett of the Sports Medicine and Science Council of Saskatchewan

· Why sleep is your secret weapon.

· How rest and nutrition build stronger athletes.

· Guided breathing and relaxation practice.

· Interactive and age-friendly visuals.

11:15 – 11:30 AM | Transition Skills Warm-Up

· Gear setup and race-day tips.

· Practice putting on shoes, helmet, and race belt.

11:30 – 12:15 PM | Transition Practice + Mini Brick Workout

· Practice swim-to-bike and bike-to-run transitions.

· Optional short bike or run loop.

· Learn how pacing and preparation improve race day.

12:15 – 12:30 PM | Cool Down & Wrap-Up

· Group reflection: “What did you learn today?”

· Light yoga, Q&A with coach Dan

· High fives and handouts to take home!

🎒 What to Bring

· Swimsuit, towel, goggles

· Bike, helmet, and running shoes

· Water bottle & light snack

· Comfortable athletic clothes

· Enthusiasm & curiosity!
