NextGen Youth Triathlon Club
Spring 8-Week Training Program (Ages 6–15)
April 11 – June 6, 2026 (No training on May 16th)
The NextGen Youth Triathlon Club Spring program is designed to help young athletes (ages 6–15) build confidence, skills, and fitness in swimming, biking, and running — all while having fun, making friends, and staying active.

Training Schedule (APRIL)
All training sessions take place at the YMCA on Saturdays
- 8:30 AM – 9:30 AM → All Age Groups Swim
- 9:30 AM – 10:45 AM:
- Ages 6–10 → Gym for Bike/Run/Fundamental Games
- Ages 11–15 → Studio for Indoor Spin on stationary bike (9:30–10:15 AM), then join the rest of the group in the gym until 10:30 AM
Training Schedule (MAY & JUNE)
Saturday Swim at YMCA: 8:30AM – 9:30AM → All Age Group
Thursday Bike/Run at Prairieland park / Meewasin Park: 4:30pm – 6:00pm → All Age Group
Program Includes
- 8 weeks of coached swim, bike, and run training
- NextGen Youth Triathlon Club T-shirt
Spots Available
Only 8 spots per age group for the Full Program:
- 8 spots → Ages 6–10
- 8 spots → Ages 11–15
Requirements
- Must provide their own:
- Swim goggles & swimsuit
- Bike in working condition (no training wheels)
- Bike helmet
- Running shoes
- Any other gear your child needs
- Must be able to swim without a life jacket or swim aid
Fees
- $300* + Processing Fee — Full Program (Swim + Bike/Run)
- $150* + Processing Fee — Bike/Run Program Only
- $75* + Processing Fee — Bike/Run Program (April Only)
- $112.50* + Processing Fee — Bike/Run Program Only (May / June Only)
*Athletes must also be:
- Athlete Member of NextGen Youth Triathlon Club 2025 – 2026 – $1
- Member of Triathlon Saskatchewan 2026
- Youth $ 15.00 + $6.00 Triathlon Canada Fee
- Family $160.00 (two adults) + Tri Canada Fee only for each child as the Tri Sask annual fee for each youth and junior family member is waived.
